Scarface (2018) is a 23-minute 3-second multi-channel video exhibited in Project Space 2 at Arts University Bournemouth on Tuesday 27th November 2018. The work features four portrait shots of the artist lying in bed looking out of shot. Whilst the framing is the same, the quality of each channel varies in contrast and stability. The tracking in the 3rd and 4th channels wobble whilst the 2nd is covered in "snow", a term used to describe damaged VHS tapes. The work appears in repeated literal disrepair due to the temperamental nature of the old VCR's it was digitised with. The audio features a muffled scene from the movie "Scarface" playing in the background, the work being of the same name and featuring Al Pacino's distinct voice as he rows with his mother at one point in the work.
